Demon Hunters: Back from the Dead – Page 38
Whoohoo! Took us nearly a year, but we’ve finally got the whole team in the same room! Let’s get this story started!
Kentucky’s missed his last couple of columns, and he’s gonna be late this month too, but March shall not end without a new Storytime with KBC. It’s just also not beginning with one. Stay tuned!
I want the blue packing peanuts! And I love how Kincaid is very very white compared to the other hunters. ^.^
I have to deal with those peanuts all week long, and they still manage to invade my outside work!
sooo… we ride?!
Love it that the chapter is now assembled đ
The art is great, especially in the fourth panel Mr Honeycutt did a superb job in my opinion.
I think my favorite is the fifth. RM looks quite cute ^^
RM and Albrecht are playing of each other quite well.
I agree with you about the art. In 38 pages there has been quite a progression, getting a definitive style for the comic while still staying inventive and trying new things.
I’ve learned a lot over this year, so hopefully there will still be growth, only more consistent.
You literally work on zombies all day Bijou, how is this even eww worthy?
Aww, I think she looks kind of cute, especially with those two eyeless bottomless black depths of utter darkness and despair in her face.
Also, I am only now really registering what the crate says. Mk. III-F-8L. Oh yeah, this bodes well.
Finally, so has Cipher’s look just changed in the past year? Or will her hair be getting it’s… poofyness? taken away soon so that it is more boring and flat and parts differently like the one from the “Meet the Hunters” page? Or is there something more sinister at work here?
Maybe it’s kinda’ like when you get a new phone. Ya’ know, you have to set it up, change / hide / delete all the crap you don’t like, then personalize! ^_^
(Can’t wait to see the accessory pack… đ )
Maybe her hairstyle chages depending on her mood. For example, on this page she is in “Who the hell are all those people?!” mode and so her hair is a bit messy.
Truth is, this is the first time I’ve drawn her since that piece was done, so I was still deciding on a style. I might go back to the old one, or you might see it come back in a plot related way…
Minor variations on the production line to due to manual handling rather than mass robotic production?
Kind of like the current look.
Well, I wasn’t complaining about it. Like I said, the old version was kind of boring. And I like the poofyness. It’s poofy. đ
I like the coding on the box too.
But then again, it could all just be coincidence…
Yeah I didn’t buy it either.
Although I hope any future boxes maintain the great tradition of naming your Paranoia characters. đ
The comic’s art just keeps getting better and better.
Btw, Albrecht: You turning your back towards the team in the first panel – that’s not the polite thing to do.
Thanks, Moritz. I feel like I’m getting closer to dialing in exactly how I want it to look.
